To Reset Your Eagle Password

Go to https://passwordreset.microsoftonline.com/ and use the password requirements below.

Important: If you are using an IVCC computer, you will be locked out of your network account for 10 minutes after five unsuccessful login attempts. In the meantime, you can use the link above to reset your password on your phone. 

If you cannot reset your password or update your method of authentication, call the Student IT Help Desk at 815-224-0318, option 2. 

Password Requirements

  • 14 or more characters in length
  • At least 3 of the 4: uppercase, lowercase, number, special character

This password becomes your password for Eagle Mail, Brightspace, IVCC Self-Service, Jacobs Library, YOU@IVCC, eCampus Online Bookstore, and IVCC computers.

To Update Your Multifactor Authentication Methods

To update your MFA security method(s), follow the steps below. If your phone number changes, you must update here in your Security Info and also with Records at 815-224-0447.

  1. Go to https://mysignins.microsoft.com/security-info 
  2. Log in using your current IVCC Eagle login
  3. If prompted, verify your identity (MFA)
  4. Update or add a sign-in method. You must use either a phone number or the MS authenticator app as a method. The Microsoft authenticator app is the most secure method.
    • To update a method, click Change next to the method and follow the prompts.
    • To add a method, click +Add Sign-In Method and follow the prompts.
