Job Fair Information for Employers

This year, Illinois Valley Community College's office of Career Services is changing things up a bit by trying to set up mini-events for program specific recruitment. We need to work out the details with our program coordinators to maximize the most student participation.

Employers, please continue to post your opportunities on our CCN system, it will help to gauge who is hiring for program specific opportunities and provide the necessary contact information we will need to make these mini-events successful.

Besides having access to the best and brightest candidates from IVCC, participating employers also benefited from the expertise and reach of our media partners in attracting qualified candidates throughout Illinois Valley and the tri-county area. 

Employer Registration Process when registration is still open:

Eligible employers interested in participating in this event are encouraged to register on-line as early as possible

 

If you currently have an approved College Central employer account:

Go to the www.collegecentral.com/ivcc site and click on the EMPLOYER icon to log-in with your access id and password. 
[You may be instructed to update your account to continue through the registration process.]

Click on the Job Fair link at the top of your dashboard and select REGISTER TO ATTEND.  Remember to review any prepopulated information to be sure it is what you want potential candidates to see when they see your profile.

If you do not have an approved College Central account:

When employer registration is active, go to the active bit.ly link that wauld take you to the registration site.    (note: this is a case sensitive web address)

Click FOR EMPLOYERS at the top of the page and select REGISTER TO ATTEND.  Keep in mind, the information you enter will be your online employer profile for only THIS event.

  • Important:  Using the quick link to register does not provide access to the site to re-register as returning employer.  If you have registered for Job Fairs in the past without a current CCN employer account, you will need to repeat the entire registration process again.
