The center’s coordinator, Cristina Callahan, ensures operations run smoothly while providing individualized support throughout each student's academic journey. Its Main Street location and close-knit atmosphere make higher education and workforce training accessible and connected to the community it serves.
Programs
The Ottawa Center serves a diverse range of learners, from traditional college students to working adults seeking new career opportunities and professional certifications. Students can enroll through Self-Service in a variety of programs and courses, including but not limited to:
- Emergency Medical Services (EMS)
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- GED preparation and English as a Second Language (ESL) classes
- Various Professional Certifications
Whether pursuing a degree, developing new skills, earning a certification, or completing a high school equivalency credential, learners can find accessible educational opportunities close to home.
Services
Student Services are available at the Ottawa Center on Tuesdays for Career Services and on Wednesdays and Thursdays for Counseling, either as walk-in or with an appointment. The Ottawa Center also offers a variety of convenient services to support students, including:
