Hall of Fame Nomination Information

IVCC-LPO Hall of Fame nominees will be selected based on answers provided to the following questions provided they meet the following nomination criteria:

• Alumni nominees must have attended IVCC or LPO for a minimum of 24 credit hours.
• Alumni nominees are first eligible for selection ten (10) calendar years following their first transcribed graduation of a degree or certificate or following their achievement of 24 credit hours whichever is earlier.
• Alumni and individual nominees are ineligible to receive the award if they currently are an elected public official or plan to run for public office. Eligibility begins once they are retired from public office.
• Alumni and individual nominees cannot have received payment from the college for services within the last year from the date the nominations close or plan on receiving payment from IVCC for services in the upcoming academic year. This includes employees, retirees, vendors and outside contractors.
• Individual nominees who are not alumni and serve the college and are not receiving payment for those services (i.e. volunteer, Foundation Director) can be considered for nomination based on their service and outside professional accomplishments. However, nominations for those individuals who are not alumni and who serve the college will not be considered until they are done serving.
• Nominees must have earned national, state or local renown for their accomplishments.
• Alumni and individual nominees are asked to confirm attendance to the induction ceremony upon selection. If nominee is deceased or medically unable to attend, then a representative of the nominee will be invited to accept the award on behalf of the nominee if selected for induction.
• If a nominee or their representative referred to above is unable to attend, then the nominee (or their representative) may request a virtual acceptance of the award or may request the selection be deferred to a future Hall of Fame Ceremony.
• Selection will be based on the information provided in this nomination submission. Please provide detailed, accurate and complete information. Information provided may require verification if nominee is selected.

All submissions must be made through the online nomination form using the link below. The online nomination form is not savable. You will need to have all of your information prepared ahead of time that you can copy and paste into the form. The following information will be needed:

• Nominator's Information
• First and Last Name, Mailing Address, Email, Mobile Number and Relationship to Nominee
• Nominee's information
• First, Middle (if known) and Last Name, Mailing Address, Email, Mobile Number
• Last Name during attendance at IVCC-LPO if different than current (if known)
• Years of Attendance or Service to IVCC-LPO (if known)

  • Detail the nominee's outstanding success or distinction during their years at IVCC or LPO or in their career after attending IVCC-LPO. Please include specific achievements, general accomplishments or recognition received during their career, while in college or during their service to IVCC-LPO.

• Nominee's Humanitarian and Community Service (this will be considered by the selection committee but not required)

• Nominees will not be communicated with ahead of time by the IVCC Foundation. All nominations will be considered by the selection committee if they meet the above criteria.
• Inductees will receive communication from the IVCC Foundation that they have been selected for induction.
• For nominees not selected, only the nominator will be informed that their nominee was not selected for this year’s Hall of Fame. Their nomination will be considered for the next two Hall of Fame selection cycles.

The 2026 IVCC-LPO Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, June 6, 2026. The event will proceed only if a minimum of three individuals are selected for induction.Back To Top
