What is Welding Production?

It's the skills to equip those with a desire to weld in a production environment with the skills they need to start a successful career.

Stackable Programs

Can be stacked with other Welding certificates and AAS degrees.  IVCC has partnered with NIU for a 3 + 1 programs.

American Welding Society Certification

One way to advance your welding career is by earning a specialized welding certification.  IVCC's curriculum is aligned to the American Welding Society for more money, leadership roles and higher-level career challenges.  IVCC can prepare you to test for specific AWS certifications.  IVCC is one of five AWS Accredited Testing Facility (ATF) in the State of Illinois.

Outstanding instructors who are AWS CWI/CWE certified and have 10+ years of both classroom instruction and industry experience.

Hands-On Training

State of the art welding equipment and large lab with 17 welding stations, 2 cutting stations, and a fabrication area.  Small class sizes with instructor to student ratio to no more than 6 students to one instructor.
