Welding information sessions set for Spring 2027 classes

Train for a high-paying, high-demand career or brush up on current skills by enrolling in IVCC’s Spring 2027 welding courses, which are accepting students now.

Prospective welding students must attend an information session, where they will meet with Welding Program Coordinator Theresa Molln to choose courses and discuss the program before they register. New college students must have completed an IVCC application and obtained a student ID number before attending the information session.

Two information sessions are scheduled on the Oglesby campus:

  • October 27 from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in CTC 123.
  • October 30 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in CTC 123.

Space is limited, so participants must pre-register for one of the sessions by calling Liz Bulthuis at 815-224-0265.

IVCC students begin registering for classes on October 28.

No previous welding experience is necessary. Students receive individualized instruction in small classes and use state-of-the-art welding equipment and a large lab and fabrication area.

Flexible class schedules make it convenient for students with all types of commitments to attend.
