What is IVCC Giving Day 6?
IVCC Giving Day 6 is a one-day, online fundraising drive on April 6. It’s a day for
alumni, parents, students, faculty, staff, and friends from all over the world to
come together to give back and celebrate IVCC.
Can I give before Giving Day?
Absolutely! All gifts received in advance of Giving Day will be treated the same as
those received April 6.
How can my gift be counted toward Giving Day?
On April 6, come back to this page and click on the “Donate Now” button to make your
gift and be counted in on Giving Day.
Can anyone participate in Giving Day?
Absolutely. Support from everyone in the IVCC Community (friends, family, staff, students,
alumni) is welcome and appreciated.
Where does my gift go?
All gifts go to support The Illinois Valley Community College Foundation’s work.
How can I help spread the word?
Your voice will make Giving Day 6 a success. Post about IVCC Giving Day 6 on all of
your social networks. Tell your friends about Giving Day and don’t forget to tell them to visit ivcc.edu/givingday.
Will my gift be tax-deductible?
Yes. To learn more about tax-deductions at http:/www.ivcc.edu/foundation.
Will I receive a receipt?
Yes, a receipt will be automatically and immediately emailed to you using the email
address you provide when you submit your transaction. If making a donation through
a mobile device, a receipt will be sent immediately electronically. If a donation
is mailed to the foundation, a receipt will be mailed to the donor.
Does anyone else have access to my information as a donor?
No. The information collected during Giving Day is only used by The IVCC Foundation.
It will not be sold or shared with any third-party organizations.
Can I make a recurring gift?
You can always make a recurring gift at www.ivcc.edu/foundation. However, all gifts made through the Giving Day site will be processed as one-time
gifts.
