Quesse to recruit for IVCC

Illinois Valley Community College enrollment efforts were recently bolstered with the hiring of student recruitment specialist Gracelyn Quesse.

Quesse of Spring Valley worked previously in recruitment and enrollment services at the University of Nevada, Reno, and as a graduate intern for the Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs at the University of California, Los Angeles.

She comes to IVCC with a master’s of education in student affairs from UCLA “and a clear passion for higher education,” said Mark Grzybowski, Vice President for Student Services.

Quesse will spend much of her time in district high schools, making public presentations and cultivating prospects through social media.

“I am thrilled to be part of the IVCC family and am excited to join the effort to bring more bright minds to our beautiful campus,” said Quesse. “Recruiting is more than a campus-wide initiative; I look forward to collaborating with organizations and individuals across the community.

“Whether you are coming to IVCC directly from high school, returning to school, or seeking a new career path, I am eager to share all IVCC has to offer,” she said.
