Illinois Valley Community College’s Ottawa Center is hosting an Express Registration from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, June 23, for new students throughout the district.

Academic counselors will be available to help students select their fall classes and financial aid representatives will be available to answer questions and help complete a variety of preliminary tasks before the fall semester gets underway.

Ottawa Center’s new coordinator, Cristina Callahan, will also be available.

College applications must be filed by June 18 for students to be eligible for express registration, but participants can get help with applications that day and set appointments to complete registration later.

Though registration is ongoing through August 14, when fall classes begin at both the Oglesby and Ottawa Center campuses, students should act quickly to lock in their schedules. A mandatory orientation for incoming students, Eagles Launch, is scheduled for August 13.
