Places to Plant on Campus

Eagles Point Cafe, Student Life Space

Oglesby Campus, C and E buildings

  • There are two conference rooms, three activity rooms, and tables and chairs in the Student Life Space (Building E)
  • There are a limited number of desktop computers in the cafe and Student Life Space
  • There are no webcams, microphones, or speakers on computers in the cafe or in the Student Life Space
  • There is coin-operated print station in the cafe.

Academic Support Center

Oglesby Campus, A201

  • The ASC has over 100 desktop and laptop computers for students.  Computers are for use while in the ASC.
  • The ASC also loans webcams, headsets, and microphones.  Equipment is for use while in the ASC.
  • There is a coin-operated print station in the ASC.

Ask a librarian for help!

  • Two tables in the reading room between the fiction shelves
  • Two desks in the alcove in the A section of the main stacks
  • One soft chair in the alcove of the P section (Near the windows on the right side in the main stacks)
  • One table in the local history room
  • The collaboration table
  • Multiple tables in the Active Learning Space

Reserve a Space in the ASC

Reserve a Group Study Room, the Collaboration Table, or the Viewing and Recording Room for yourself or you and your classmates.  See the library spaces web page for more details.

Bring Your Own Device to the Oglesby Campus

  • D201 tables and chairs in an open space; no staff support
  • Tables and chairs throughout buildings, such as the lobby in the E/D connection or the tables outside the E building 3rd floor faculty offices
