Part-Time Faculty -- Immediate Needs

  • Art History Instructor:  Master's degree from an accredited institution in Art/Art History or Master's degree in related field with 18 graduate credits in Art History.  Courses include Survey of Art History I and II and may be offered on main Oglesby campus, Ottawa Center, or at High School sites as dual credit.  
  • Electrical  Instructor:  Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electronics Technology, or Electronics Engineering Technology OR Associate's Degree in Electronics, Electronics Technology, or Electronics Engineering Technology & a minimum of 2000 work hours as an electronics technician OR Successfully completing the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Apprenticeship program and a minimum of 2000 work hours as an electronics technician.
  • English Instructor:  Master's degree from an accredited institution in English, Rhetoric and Composition, or Master's degree in related field with 18 graduate credits in English.  Courses include English Composition I and II and may be offered on main Oglesby campus, Ottawa Center, or at High School sites as dual credit.  
  • GED/High School Equivalency Instructor for Adult Education, Bachelor's degree in any discipline required. Oglesby Campus, Evenings.  Apply for GED Instructor under Part-time Faculty/Counselor Category in Applicant Tracking.
  • Graphic Design Instructor:  Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Graphic Design, Art, Commercial Art, Digital Media, Instructional Media, Visual Communication and three (3) years of professional experience; or Associate's degree from an accredited institution and six (6) years of professional experience required.  Courses may include Photoshop, Illustrator, Web Design, and Visual Communications.
  • Human Services Instructor:  Master's degree from an accredited institution in any Human Service related field or Master's degree in related field with 18 graduate credits in any Human Service related field.  Courses may include Group Dynamics, Case Management Skills, and oversight of the Practicum and/or Internship.
  • Manufacturing Instructor:  Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Management, Manufacturing Operations OR Associate's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Management, Manufacturing Operations & a minimum of 2000 work hours as a manufacturing engineering technician. 
  • Spanish Instructor:  Master's degree from an accredited institution in Spanish or Master's degree in related field with 18 graduate credits in Spanish.  Courses include Beginning and Intermediate Spanish I and II and may be offered on main Oglesby campus or Ottawa Center. Blended or online experience a plus but courses will meet face to face.    
  • Speech Instructor:  Master's degree from an accredited institution in Speech/Communications or Master's degree in related field with 18 graduate credits in Speech/Communication.  Courses include Fundamentals of Speech and may be offered on main Oglesby campus, Ottawa Center, or at High School sites dual credit.
  • Welding Instructor:  Bachelor's Degree in Welding Technology or Industrial Technology OR Associate's Degree in Welding Technology & a minimum of 2000 work hours as a welder OR Technical diploma &/or certificate in Welding & a minimum of 4000 work hours as a welder OR American Welding Society Certified Welding Inspector (AWS CWI) & a minimum of 30,000 work hours as a welder OR 10 years' work experience as a welder.
