Part-Time Faculty -- Immediate Needs

  • Art History Instructor:  Master's degree from an accredited institution in Art/Art History or Master's degree in related field with 18 graduate credits in Art History.  Courses include Survey of Art History I and II and may be offered on main Oglesby campus, Ottawa Center, or at High School sites as dual credit.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Instructors, requirements include:  RN with a current Illinois license; Must have completed the IL Department of Public Health's Train the Trainer program--(available online); Current Health Care Provider CPR card (current AHA CPR instructor is a plus)  
  • English Instructor:  Master's degree from an accredited institution in English, Rhetoric and Composition, or Master's degree in related field with 18 graduate credits in English.  Courses include English Composition I and II and may be offered on main Oglesby campus, Ottawa Center, or at High School sites as dual credit.  
  • English as a Second Language (ESL) Instructional Aide for Adult Education.  High School Diploma or GED required.  Mendota and Streator locations.  Apply for ESL Aide under Part-time Faculty/Counselor Category.
  • GED/High School Equivalency Instructor for Adult Education, Bachelor's degree in any discipline required. Oglesby Campus, Evenings.  Apply for GED Instructor under Part-time Faculty/Counselor Category in Applicant Tracking.  
  • Spanish Instructor:  Master's degree from an accredited institution in Spanish or Master's degree in related field with 18 graduate credits in Spanish.  Courses include Beginning and Intermediate Spanish I and II and may be offered on main Oglesby campus or Ottawa Center. Blended or online experience a plus but courses will meet face to face.    
  • Speech Instructor:  Master's degree from an accredited institution in Speech/Communications or Master's degree in related field with 18 graduate credits in Speech/Communication.  Courses include Fundamentals of Speech and may be offered on main Oglesby campus, Ottawa Center, or at High School sites dual credit.
  • Truck Driver Training Specialist:  High School diploma or equivalent; at least two years over the road experience; previous training experience; project a professional image at all times.
