Transferring to Eureka College in Fall 2016?
The Steven W. Rigazio Scholarship is a two year, full tuition scholarship awarded to one IVCC student graduating in May 2016 with an associate's degree and transferring to Eureka College starting in the fall 2016 semester.
The scholarship was established in 2002 and honors the memory of the Oglesby native who graduated from IVCC in 1974 and Eureka in 1976. Steven was President of Nevada Power Co. when he died of ALS in 2001 at age 47.
Criteria include good academic standing, good character, positive attitude, and financial need.
To apply, submit a letter of application no longer than two pages addressing the following:
* What are your future life plans?
* Have you been involved in activities that have helped the community? Explain.
* What types of activities have you been involved in or plan to be involved in while attending college?
* How would this scholarship impact your life?
Also required is a letter of recommendation from an IVCC instructor, counselor, administrator or community member addressing your character and potential to succeed in your chosen field of study.
