General Education

These courses are transferable courses under the Illinois Articulation Initiative (IAI) and are transferable to all Illinois public universities and most other universities. These courses are at a discounted rate and tuition waivers are available for students qualifying for free or reduced lunch and tuition.

Putnam County High School's          College Start Program

Juniors or seniors may apply for this program to be released from school to attend courses at Illinois Valley Community College. Transfer Academy courses are available at IVCC Main Campus and Ottawa Center at the dual credit discounted rate and tuition waivers are available for students qualifying for free or reduced lunch and tuition. All other courses will be at full tuition plus any lab fees. Contact your high school guidance counselor to apply for this program.
