for Job Employers
annual IVCC Job Fair will be held:
Wednesday, April 12, 2017
Time: 12:00pm - 4:00pm
Where: IVCC Gymnasium
- What are the employer eligibility requirements?
Selected employers were invited to participate in our Job Fair that mirrors
the educational programs that IVCC offers, as well as reflect the
employment needs of our students and alumni. Companies that offer bona
fide (salaried, not 100% commission, generates a W-2) full-time,
part-time, and seasonal job opportunities and internships are able
to register for Job Fair participation.
NOTE: The Career Services reserves the right to refuse
services to employers due to any of the following: dishonesty; breach of
confidentiality; fraud; misrepresentation; harassment of IVCC students,
alumni, or staff; failure to adhere to these Career Services policies
and/or any other violation of IVCC rules and regulations.
We are again
partnering with the NewsTribune and LaSalle County Broadcasting to promote
awareness of the IVCC Job Fair and participating businesses. Employer

- When are registrations due?
The registrations are due before April 3, 2017 to
ensure that participants will be included in all media advertising.
After that specified due date, registrations continued for as long as
space is available.
- What does the registration fee cover?
The registration fee reserves the exhibit space and includes all
advertisements regarding the job fair to assure the public is aware of the
great opportunity to meet you.
- How much is the registration fee?
We partnered again with The News Tribune and LaSalle
County Broadcasting in order to enhance the awareness of both the Job Fair
and the participating businesses. Besides having access to the best and
brightest candidates from IVCC, participating employers benefited from
the expertise and reach of our media partners in attracting qualified
candidates throughout the Illinois Valley and tri-county area.
Advertising Option fees are based on various advertising packages to
participate in this year’s Job Fair. Employers may choose their level of
advertising awareness for their business by selecting any of the Job Fair package levels
detailed in the Package Options to register for IVCC's 26th Annual Job Fair..
- What should we bring to the job fair?
IVCC provides one six foot table, two chairs, and a
white tablecloth. Employers may bring promotional items and information
about their company. Electrical availability is VERY limited and
not all employers will have access to an electrical supply. Those that do
request to have access to an electrical supply will need to
bring their own extension cords. Please check with the Career
Services office if you have additional questions.
- How can we hang a banner?
If you are assigned a space near a bleacher or wall, you may be able to
hang a sign or banner. We suggest that you bring an adhesive called
COMMAND. This adhesive applies quickly - and is pulled off with a pull of
a tab, leaving no damage to walls or surfaces
- How can I register for the next job fair?
Registration invitations are mailed at the end of January. If you wish to
receive a registration invitation by mail, please contact IVCC's Career Services
Office at 815-224-0502.
