Students are expected to attend ALL classes. If absence is unavoidable, it is the student's responsibility to explain the absence to the instructor and arrange to complete any missed work. Excessive absences may result in the need for the student to drop from the class, or a reduction in grade. It IS the responsibility of the student to drop the class.
CATALOG DESCRIPTION:
Creation of sophisticated web pages and applications; advanced skills in web site organization; updating of web content; using FrontPage as a seamless operating environment with Microsoft Office Suite of applications.

COURSE OBJECTIVES:
The student will learn to:
Develop, create and manage a web-site.
Edit a web-site.
Customize Templates and Wizards.
Integrate FrontPage with Microsoft Office.
Publish a web-site.

GRADING POLICY:
Students will be graded on their creativity and integration of functions learned in the classroom. Assignments must be turned in on time, or points may be deducted from the overall assignment grade.
COURSE CONTENT:
ALL students are to work through each Chapter, providing all print-outs as requested in the textbook. Each print-out is to have the students name, Chapter Number, page number, and step number, if necessary.

5/09 Last Class. Final Projects. These will consist of designing and setting up an individual, working website on IVCC's web server utilizing what has been learned in class. The sites will remain on the server until they are replaced by the following semester's class. Students will be graded on overall design, navigation principles, content, and functionality. These projects may be started at anytime during the semester that the student feels he or she is ready, and saved on the required zip disk.
Web site posting. Each student will publish their project to IVCC’s Web server. The publishing process is included in the project assignment.
