Webinar is taken from
the words “web” and “seminar”. It is an
online workshop where participants can interact with the presenter.
What do I need to participate?
You need to be able to logon to the webinar site using a computer
with internet access. It doesn’t matter
where you are-- you could be at home, the library, or at the Learning Commons. You will need to have a microphone if you
want to ask questions or participate in the discussion. If you are in the Learning Commons, you can
check out microphones and headphones with your student ID.
