IVCC SPIRIT DAY: August 29, 2007
IVCC Spirit Day with M4-Flight Simulator, Wax Hands,
Inflatable Obstacle Course, Bean Bag Toss, Popcorn, Photo Magic, Caricaturists,

Pizza and MORE!!
IVCC THEATRE NIGHT: October 25, 2007
The SGA sponsors a free dinner for all IVCC Students and Employees for the
opening night of each semester's theatre production. This year
ICCSAA Student Leadership Conference:
November 2-3, 2007
The SGA is attending the Annual Illinois Community
College Student Leadership Conference in St. Louis. This year's conference
is hosted by Southwestern College
Black History Month: Soul Food Lunch: February 13, 2008
The SGA Co-Hosts this annual event with the Diversity Task force.
This is a free lunch consisting
of primarily soul food in recognition of Black History Month
IBHE-SAC:
Members of the IVCC SGA regularly attend the
Illinois Board of Higher Education Student Advisory Committee meetings held
around the state.
2008 LOBBY DAY: April 2008
Each spring, the SGA members visit Springfield for Student Lobby Day.
It is an opportunity to meet with State Legislators concerning
issues that affect community college students. Below are pictures from the
2007 Lobby Day
