celebration of Small Business Week, the Illinois Small Business Development
Center at Illinois Valley Community College hosted a luncheon entitled "The
Entrepreneurial Spirit of Small Business" at the Uptown Grill in LaSalle.
Keynote speaker for the event was Lee Ann Piano who inspired everyone in "Becoming Opportunity Minded".
Beverly Malooley, Director of the Illinois Small Business Development Center at Illinois Valley Community College, showcased several successful small businesses that our center has assisted.
Approximately 60 business leaders, including small business owners, bankers, accountants and chamber directors, were in attendance.
