HI-TECH ELECTRONIC PRODUCTS & MFG., INC.
The Northwest Region Entrepreneurship Center, part of the Illinois Opportunity Returns Program, presented a $10,000 Challenge Grant to Hi-Tech Electronic Products & Mfg., Inc. This award, matched by the company, will be used to tool a new, proprietary product that the company will market in the United States. Hi-Tech Electronic Products & Mfg., Inc., Company, manufactures electronic products and assemblies for other companies. Hi-Tech also designs and markets its own products internationally.
The Challenge Grant
and the 100% company match will be used for tooling a new, innovative product
that will help the company move to the next level. The Illinois Department of
Commerce and Economic OpportunityChallenge Grant funding is determined based
upon the potential for successful achievement of a significant business
milestone. The Northwest Region Entrepreneurship Center and the Illinois Small
Business Development Center at Illinois Valley Community College will continue
to work closely with Hi-Tech to help provide additional support that might be
needed as the company expands.
OTTAWA DENTAL
LABORATORY
The Northwest Region Entrepreneurship Center, part of the Illinois Opportunity Returns Program, presented a $10,000 Challenge Grant to the Ottawa Dental Laboratory. This award, matched by the company, will be used to develop a new website and product packaging enhancements. Ottawa Dental Laboratory offices are located at 1304 Starfire Drive, Ottawa, IL.
The Ottawa Dental Laboratory, designs dental prosthetic devices for customers in northern Illinois. Their business utilizes the skills of artisans combined with the latest high-technology computerized scanners and laser engraving machines to create its products. The company is developing a new marketing and sales strategy to increase its market share in the region. Ottawa Dental Laboratory seeks out innovative solutions to developing new business and markets for its products. The business has an outstanding employee training program and a very progressive approach to insure employee retention.
The Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity Challenge Grant funding is determined based upon the potential for successful achievement of a significant business milestone.
