Develop and sharpen higher order learning skills, especially the ability to integrate and synthesize information and ideas.

Apply sociological/ anthropological concepts to personal life experiences
Develop a holistic perspective, the ability to see the whole as well as the parts

Explain how social structures affect the lives of individuals within a society.
Compare and contrast sociological/ anthropological perspectives.
Develop an informed concern about contemporary social issues and be able to identify and discuss some of the issue’s underlying causes.
