Group Projects |

| As part of our unit on Dan Brown's The Da Vinci Code, I would like you to begin researching aspects of the novel to see how Brown shapes a fictitious story out of facts. There will be four-six groups in total for each class, four of which might organize around Brown's defined categories of "Artwork, architecture, documents, and secret rituals"--those things he says are accurate. Additionally, one group might discuss the evolution of the historical ideas Brown brings up in the novel, and one group could discuss the evolution in the protagonist's understanding or ideas through the novel. | ||
You will present these projects orally to the class, most likely beginning on March 12th or 13thd, and you will have some time in class to work on these projects together. I expect that these presentations will last about 10 minutes and that you will have some sort of visual aid to show the class as part of your presentation. As you prepare and deliver these presentations, please remember to cite your sources. |
