Project Success Offers The Following Services:
Academic Counseling and Career Planning
Because there are so many academic and career opportunities available, it is often difficult to decide which direction to go. Project Success Counselors will assist you with your decision-making process by providing career information, educational guidance, and supportive counseling.
Personal Attention and Support
Project Success works with a maximum of 160 students. Our counselors are easily accessible and provide personalized attention to each member of the program. Your counselor will help you develop your Individual Plan for Success, which outlines your educational and personal goals and provides a structured approach for achieving them.
We strongly encourage students to use tutoring services from the very beginning of each semester, before running into difficulty. Tutoring services can be accessed through Project Success, just ask us! Or, if you prefer, you can set up tutoring sessions on your own through the Academic Assistance Center, at (815) 224-0479.
Are there support services available for students with disabilities?
Yes. IVCC is committed to responding to the needs of students with cognitive, physical, and psychiatric disabilities as outlined in both the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. If you have questions regarding services available, please contact the Special Populations Office at (815) 224-0284.
