Hello, my name is Chris Herman and I am a counselor for Project Success. Prior to IVCC, I served four years as an Academic Advisor and Special Needs Coordinator at Pratt Community College in Kansas. I also served as an assistant basketball coach for Pratt Community College, Illinois Central College, and John A. Logan College. I have taught at the Academy at ICC, an alternative high school, and served as a residential counselor for the Peoria Children’s Home. I have a Bachelors Degree in Therapeutic Recreation and a Masters in Education both from Southern Illinois University.
I am originally from Washington, Illinois and I enjoy fishing, golf, and barbecuing in my spare time. I am a St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan!
Hi, I am Cynthia Cardosi, the newest member of the counseling staff at Project Success. I am thrilled that I will be a part of your experiences at IVCC. I have spent years immersing myself in education as I love to learn. I have a BS is in Physical Education –University of Alabama-Birmingham, MEd in Educational Administration - U of Illinois, and MSS in Sport Management – US Sports Academy, and finally a PhD in Educational Psychology – University of Virginia. I also have spent 16 years advising and counseling student-athletes on how to be successful in college.
