Message from the President

The coronavirus pandemic has resulted in nearly 4,000,000 confirmed cases around the world and nearly 300,000 deaths. It also led to our governor issuing an executive directive to shelter in place and close all Illinois community college campuses to the public, leaving us no choice but to move the delivery of instruction to online platforms.

But through it all our faculty and staff have handled these and some other challenging situations magnificently. To simply say that I’m proud of our employees would be an understatement.

Our annual commencement program has been moved to a virtual format for the celebration on May 16, followed by the first day of summer session classes to begin on Monday, May 18.

I hope that you will enroll in classes this summer and fall knowing that the quality of instruction will continue at the same high-level for which IVCC has been known for 96 years.

Check out what IVCC has to offer and never hesitate to let us know how we can help you achieve your academic and career goals.
