Be sure to read the map key on the figure. The green lines show the elevation of the groundwater surface above sea level, and the red lines show where dye travel when it was poured into a sinkhole (blue dot or blue triangle). The black lines show mapped caves.
a. Look closely at places where the red and green lines intersect.
b. Follow the nearest red line! Where does it go?
c.(1) Follow the red lines! Look for blue dots and blue triangles.
c.(2) Do what the hint says!
c.(3) Velocity = distance /time
(distance was measured in miles for c.(2), convert to feet
