COURSE OBJECTIVES:
1. Learn the basic components of a CAD system.
2. Learn computer graphic principles as they apply to the latest release of AutoCAD.
A continuation of computer aided drafting I including advanced computer graphics principles as they apply to AutoCAD. This course includes advanced dimensioning commands, attributes, symbols libraries, script files and slide files. An introduction of to3D cad drafting will be made at the end of the semester.
CLASSROOM TECHNIQUE:
Lecture, cooperative learning, individual and group labs.Attendance is required. A student will be dropped after five unexcused absences. Roll will be taken at each lecture and lab session. Five extra credit points will be given to a student's final grade for perfect attendance. Students will be required to attend full labs, please adjust your work schedules accordingly.

Notebook for papersStudents wishing to drop the class will have to initiate the procedure. The instructor will not drop a student without student verification. At the semester end, if a student has not dropped and has not completed the course requirements, a grade of F will be given. April 11 is the last date for withdrawal.
