Education:
A.S. Kaskaskia College 1978
B.S. (Zoology) Eastern Illinois University 1980
M.S. (Zoology) Eastern Illinois University 1981

Collegiate Teaching Experience:  I have been teaching courses in human anatomy and physiology (BIO 1007, BIO 1008, BIO 1200), general biology (BIO 1002), and personal and community health (HPE 1003) at Illinois Valley Community College since the fall of 1981.

Other Teaching Experience: Basketball has been an important part of my work and life since coming to IVCC.  I was an assistant to Dean Riley with the men's basketball program at IVCC from 1981-1986.  From 1986-1993,  I was the head coach for the IVCC's women's basketball program. During my 12 years of coaching at IVCC, I assisted with or conducted numerous summer basketball camps on campus for boys and girls at the grade school, junior high, and high school levels.

From 1997-2002 I served as a volunteer girls basketball coach at Peru Catholic School at the 6th, 7th and 8th grade levels.

Non-teaching experience: During the fall of 1996, I was asked to coordinate an institutional self-study of all of IVCC's academic and support programs in preparation for an April 1998 evaluation conducted by a team of consultant/evaluators from the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. The result of IVCC's evaluation was a 10 year continued accreditation by the North Central Association.
