Creating links to articles in IVCC library databases

Updated 11/20/2007

Faculty can create links to articles in several of the IVCC library databases.  These article links can be displayed on the faculty/class web page, in Blackboard, or in WebBoard, thus giving students immediate access to the article without having to perform a search in the database.  If a student is off-campus, he/she will only be prompted once for their IVCC ID number and last name.

If you have created links before, please read the following instructions, as the proxy server has necessitated some changes.  Presently there are instructions for several of our databases.  If you use any of the others and would like the library to explore article linking for them, please email or call Joanne Jalley x237.  LexisNexis does not allow article linking.
