About The Learning Commons
The Learning Commons, located in D-201, exists to provide students with free academic resources including peer tutors, assistance through all stages of the writing process, assistance with classroom projects, technology assistance, and a place to study. In keeping with IVCC’s mission to teach those who seek and be enriched by those who learn, the Learning Commons serves as a learning resource that provides free academic and technical support to students.
IVCC’s Learning Commons, a collaboration of the Learning Technologies Department and the Division of English, Math, and Education, promotes student success and lifelong learning by providing writing assistance, peer tutoring services, and a student help desk.
