Word
2003 is one of the components of Microsoft Office 2003 Professional Suite.
If you do not have the software package at home or at work, you can use a
computer on campus to complete your assignments.
1. Each student enrolled
in a class at Illinois Valley Comm. College has been assigned a login i.d. for
our computer network. The i.d.
consists of the first three letters of your last name and the last four digits
of your social security number.
For example, my i.d. would be ise9234.
2.
Your
initial password for the system is your entire social security number without
any spaces or hyphens.
3. You must
change your password immediately and then again each month to use the network.
The password should be something that you can easily remember and that is
unique. A pamphlet is available in
the lab outlining the procedures to change your password.
4. LRC-D is
an open lab that will not have any classes scheduled in it.
There will also be a lab assistant to instruction or student lab
assistants in this lab to assist you in your computing endeavors.
