Health and Physical Education Department
The Health and Physical Education Department offers a variety of classes to enhance personal health and wellness while fulfilling the General Education requirements for degree and transfer programs. The department augments traditional teaching and learning by presenting guest speakers, community health organizations, and life-enhancing service opportunities as part of its Wellness-based approach to education. An annual Health and Wellness Fair allows students to access valuable personal health data and presents an opportunity to share information with fellow students and the community. To enhance the body along with the mind, a variety of activity courses are offered through the Educational Fitness Center. The center is staffed with fitness professionals ready to help identify and reach individual fitness goals.
