                               A Holiday Dream

                                                         by

                                               David Allan Kuester

Tim is a young boy with low esteem. He doesn't even want to join his family for a holiday celebration (Christmas or any other holiday or special occasion). As he dozes off to sleep, an elf comes to help him--with the aid of the audience. As he gains self confidence, he rescues Hansel and Gretel from the witch, Little Red Riding Hood from the Big Bad Wolf, and Jack and his beanstalk from the giant. Was it only a dream?

Most Wonderful Time of the Year

It's a "December to Remember" when IVCC's Choir and Show Choir take the stage with this holly, jolly musical revue and concert. Act I features the IVCC Choir (under the direction of Norman Engstrom) with a variety of traditional, classic, and timeless holiday music. Act II features the IVCC Show Choir (under the direction of Don Grant Zellmer) with "Jingle Bell Jukebox," a high-energy singing and dancing salute to the holiday music from yesteryear to today's hits. Then, the two choirs combine for a sing along of carols and holiday tunes with the audience.

Gypsy is the ultimate story about an aggressive stage mother. Join Rose, June and Louise in their trip across the United States during the 1920's, when vaudeville was dying and burlesque was born. Jule Styne's music and Stephen Sondheim's lyrics include Let Me Entertain You, Some People, You'll Never Get Away from Me, If Momma Was Married, All I Need I the Girl, Everything's Coming Up Roses, You Gotta Get A Gimmick and Together Wherever We Go. This is a gripping story of one of the most frighting aspects of show business.
