Literary Analysis Paper

In the literary analysis papers you will determine, analyze, and evaluate the quality of the literature that you choose as your subject. For this paper, please pick one of the texts that is literary in nature--an essay, a poem, a story--you've read in this unit.  Specifically, you will want to address what the theme of the writing is and then explain how well the writer manipulated the literary elements at hand to help convey that theme.  For the purpose of these papers, we will understand the theme to be the lesson the writer teaches us, the readers, about our world. What we will be trying to see, through these two analyses, is whether women or men have any greater skill at communicating their themes in literature.

If you have questions, ask through e-mail or WebBoard.

You may attach your completed paper in WebBoard or you may e-mail or snail mail it to me.
