Examination Three
Covering Units 7, 8, and 9

Reminder: Once you get into the exam, do not hit the tab key.  That will do bad, very bad, things.

Note: If you are following the alternative syllabus, be aware you may get a few Jane Eyre and Madwoman questions; you will not be held responsible for any of the readings that are not on the alternative syllabus.

You will have 150 minutes to take this exam.

As is typical, I apologize for getting this posted late.

In the essay portion, I do ask you to quote from your sources, so you might want to print them out or bookmark them, highlighting or otherwise marking sections that you think are more important than others, so that you will have them ready when you get to that section of the test.

The exams will occur in three parts:

1.  Multiple choice questions, similar to those of the quizzes. (20 for 40 points)
             2.  Passage Identifications, identifying the source and its significance. These will come from the readings, web pages, and any of the other text links from the syllabus. (2 for 10 points)
             3.  Essay question. (1 for 50 points)
