Student licensing for Adobe software is available for purchase through the IVCC Bookstore in connection with our cumulative licensing program agreement.
Adobe provides the following products free to students and educators, check out their website for more details.
AutoDesk provides students free registration for access to free software, training, and networking opportunities with other student designers. This program is NOT connected with any agreement with IVCC, it is a service provided and managed by AutoDesk directly. Students must complete the free registration with an .edu email address (i.e. firstname.lastname@example.org). All students are provided with a student email account. Accounts are created each semester. Please direct students to the MyIVCC website for more details regarding student email. If your student does not have an email account or is having problems with their email, please direct them to the Learning CommonsStudent Help Desk.
The licensing for the products in the following programs are perpetual, meaning they belong to the purchaser for life. The purchaser must adhere to the End User License Agreement in the Terms and Conditions for each product.
MSDN-AATM is a benefit provided to eligible IVCC students and faculty as a result of our campus agreement. Please follow the link to find out more about this program.
Microsoft Student-Select volume licensing is available for purchase through the IVCC Bookstore. This program is connected with our campus agreement which provides a significant discount to students. This program provides the student with an electronic download and media.
Box products for Microsoft student licensing is also available through the IVCC Bookstore under the Microsoft Partner Program. Box products generally have a different licensing structure and provide installation media and user manuals.
Microsoft's Ultimate Steal Deal
The Ultimate Steal is a Microsoft offering through Digital River, a Microsoft Partner, which provides a discount to students enrolled in at least a half credit hour (.5). This is NOT an offering connected with the IVCC campus agreement or the Bookstore. Please refer to the link to find out more about this deal.

IVCC subscribes to a 30-license maintenance subscription for the CAD program. The licenses are distributed through a server to designated computers on campus. A free 150-day student version of SolidWorks is available through this program. Each semester students in the course associated with this software application are eligible to receive a cd/dvd. Please check with your instructor if you believe you are eligible for this free software.
The Physics Department (Natural Science & Business division - NSB) has purchased a site license of Logger Pro 3 which includes Spectro Pro and Graphical Analysis 3 software. The site license allows IVCC to install this software onto any of the computers used by the Physics department, including a network, and on teacher and student home computers. Students may leave the software on their computers after they have finished the course (requiring Logger Pro 3), if they choose. Eligible students are enrolled in any course beginning with PHY or TAM-2001. Media can be checked out by eligible students and faculty from Jacob's Library and duplicated for personal use.
