Academic Affairs
Purposes of the Office of Academic Affairs:
- provide leadership to ensure the highest quality of instructional programs
- create and sustain an environment that enhances teaching and learning
- continually improve student learning and performance
Academic Affairs is the central administrative office with responsibility for curriculum and academic policy development, implementation and evaluation. This includes:
- occupational and transfer programs
- continuing education
- adult education
- developmental/remedial education
- instructional technology
- academic fiscal management
- evaluation of academic programs
- faculty development
- assessment of student learning.
