Supportive Services

Assuming sufficient funding exits, the Dislocated Workers Center (DWC) participants, involved in vocational classroom training, may qualify for support services options: mileage and/or child care.

Mileage:  If considered appropriate by the DWC staff a participant may be reimbursed for miles traveled when in route to class.   Reimbursement begins after the first 20 miles driven.

Child Care:  If considered appropriate by the DWC staff, a participant may be reimbursed some or all of their child care expenses while attending training.
