CATALOG DESCRIPTION
This course offers a project-based series of lessons to learn Adobe PhotoShop program's features and capabilities.
To complete the requirements for this course, you will need the following:
· A working knowledge of a computer and the windows operating system. You should know how to use a mouse, standard menus and commands and be able to open, close and save files.
· You will need to be able to access Adobe Photoshop CS2. Either at the college lab in LRC-D or using your own version at home or work.
· Access to the Internet either at the college in LRC-D or at home.
· A Private Email Account

Unit Assignments
Each unit will cover several chapters in the book. During each unit you will be responsible for completing several tasks including:
Project Portfolio: For each unit you will create an original image instructions and resource will be given in the Assignment section of Blackboard. All projects are due in a portfolio format at the end of the semester.
All Assignments are expected to be turned in when they are due! Failure to do so could result in loss of points or failure of that assignment!

Withdrawal
Students wishing to withdraw from the class must contact the instructor and request a withdrawal. Failure to request a withdrawal may result in a failing grade. It is the responsibility of the student to request a withdrawal. Withdrawal deadline April 11.
