Library Services
A wide array of library materials are available online through the Jacobs Library Web site.
Over 20,000 periodicals are available for you to read online. These cover every possible topic, including health, business, Microsoft applications, film, digital photography, sports, and education.
Millions of books can be requested online and delivered to IVCC through the interlibrary loan system for your pick-up.
A student ID is required for all library transactions. The
number printed on your student ID will gain you access to the library databases.
Participating Telecourse Libraries
Select area libraries volunteer their services to IVCC telecourse students. These services are coordinated by the Department of Learning Technologies. With the exception of the IVCC Jacobs Library, participating libraries are also testing centers. See the section on testing later in this handbook.

You must have proper identification to take tests or check out
materials.
