Getting Started with Telecourses

You are enrolled in a telecourse.  Now what?  This notice will supply you with some information to get you started with your course.  Even if you have taken a telecourse before, we urge you to read carefully.   Here’s what you need to do.

Look at your course registration statement/schedule to identify the course name and number. You will need to pick up course materials at these locations:

IVCC Bookstore

• Textbook
• Course materials, including courepacks and study guides (not available for all classes)

Stop at the registration office to get your student ID.

Then, with your ID, you also need to go to the Jacobs Library to pick up your

• Videos, including an orientation DVD.
  
• Course Syllabus

Read the syllabus carefully.  It will answer many of the questions you may already have.
