Flexible Alternatives to Fit Your Life
For people who hold full or part-time jobs or have family obligations, flexible learning alternatives are often the only way to accomplish educational goals.
Distance learning courses meet the same academic standards as traditional, face-to-face courses. They are neither easier nor more difficult. They are different. They are taught by IVCC instructors or instructors from other Illinois community colleges. They employ materials created by the instructor, textbook publishers, or professional educational video producers such as PBS, Coast Learning Systems, Dallas Telelearning, and Intelecom. These courses may also include a variety of web-based communication technologies to meet the learning objectives.
