Program Note: A minimum GPA of 2.0 is required in each course of the "Dental Assisting Program". If there is a course prerequisite for a second semester DLA course, one must have a "C" or above for the course prerequisite to enroll in the second semester course. In order to take DLA 1202 & 2202, students must be currently certified in CPR through the American Red Cross or the American Heart Association. This can be accomplished by taking ALH 1220 - Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation or by earning certification through a local hospital, fire department, or ambulance service. CSP 1230 - If needed to meet keyboarding requirement for DLA 1206. STUDENTS ARE TO FOLLOW THE SEQUENTIAL PATTERN OF DLA COURSES AS LISTED ON THIS CURRICULUM GUIDE. Option I is Full-time.
