Illinois Valley Community College Welding Department is an AWS accredited test facility. Students are trained and tested according to the applicable welding codes and are educated on becoming employable. When possible, students are assisted in finding jobs after perfecting thier welding skills. The welding department AWS/CWI will develope procedure qualification records (PQR), welding procedure specifications (WPS), welding qualification test records, etc. for individuals and employers wanting to get AWS certified.
