Here are the steps to get connected to…

  • Go to www.CCJobNet.com.
  • Click on the "Job Seekers" button.
  • If you already have a E-mail Address and Password, enter it here.
  • If you do not have a E-Mail Address and Password, it very easy to get one. Under the "Submit" button is the following sentence, "If you do not have a E-mail Address and Password, click here to sign up." Click on the word "here."
  • Use the drop down menu to select Illinois Valley Community College. Click on the "Submit" button.
  • A page with a form will appear. Only five pieces of information are required, leave the rest of the form blank, if you wish.
    Information required:
    Blue square First Name
    Blue square Last Name
    Blue square Email Address. If you do not have an email account, go to www.yahoo.com or www.hotmail.com to set up a free email account.) You will need to retype your email to confirm your email address was typed correctly.
    Blue square Select a Status from the drop-down menu.
    Blue square Currently employed? Yes or No.
  • Click on the "Submit" button.
  • Go to your email account. The CCJobNet.com administration will send a confirmation message to the email address given.
    a. If your email program allows you to click on hyperlinks, click on the link provided in the email. This link will bring you to the CCJobNet.com screen where you create your Password. Your E-mail Address and registration code should appear in their respective fields. If they do not, enter your E-mail Address and the registration code given to you in the registration validation email.
    b. If your email program does not allow you to click hyperlinks or the link doesn't work, please type the address into your Web browser, and enter your E-mail Address and the registration code given to you in the registration validation email.
  • Enter your Password; do not use the registration code as your password. Passwords should be at least 8 characters. Try to make it something easy to remember.
  • Re-enter your Password.
  • Click on "Continue.

That is all there is to it!
You will be returned to the job seeker login screen where you can log in to your CCJobNet.com account using the information you just established.
