Student E-mail Accounts
E- mail help:
About Student E-mail
Every student enrolled in a college credit course will receive an IVCC e-mail account that can be accessed from any computer with Internet access. The student's account will be active beginning the first day of class on any given semester and continue to be active. Each account has 5 MB of space and a student just needs to logon with their username and password. A student's e-mail account can be used for personal and academic purposes. Instructors remain in contact with students outside of class through e-mail by sending assignments, lecture notes, class cancellations, changes in class schedule, etc.
In addition to instructors using e-mail, other departments also communicate with e-mail. For example the library will send messages regarding a book you may have requested, or possibly a book might be overdue. Registering online using WebAdvisor also requires students to use their e-mail to setup their WebAdvisor password.
If you need assistance using your student e-mail account, contact the Learning Commons - Computer Resources via phone, 224-0318; email, crc@ivcc.edu; in person, in room D-201, or use the Help Menu after logging in to your e-mail account.
