Construction Update Week of June 25


Over the last 30 days, the following work has been accomplished on the CTC building project:

·         Therapeutic Massage area in Building G is complete.

·         Vertical geothermal wells have been drilled (192 wells each over 500’ deep). The horizontal loop from the building to the vault is complete and the eight horizontal loops in the field have been started. Work on the geothermal field should be complete by Aug. 10.

·         Foundations of the CTC are complete; pier pads are complete.

·         Structural steel erection should be complete by July 23.

·         98 percent of in-ground electrical and plumbing is complete.

·         Metal stud framing has been started.

During the next 30 days,

·         2/3’s of the second floor concrete deck will be poured July 3; last 1/3 will be poured by July 30.

·         Precast concrete erection will start on Aug. 6.

·         Light gauge metal framing and sheeting will continue.

·         Roof drains will be started

Slab on grade preparation and pour will be completed.
