Coaching Teachers for Classroom Success
Del and Susan Goodale are returning for a brand new graduate course! This course allows teachers to select an area of interest (e.g., Common Core, 21st Century Skills, Web 2.0 tools, Differentiation of Instruction, etc.) to study and develop a plan of action in the classroom. Participants will then learn the coaching model through direct experience and then apply that model to their area of study in their work with students. This model of personal and professional development can then be applied to any teaching initiative or individual classroom with emphasis on the strength-based approach to teaching and learning, and the development of resilience, goal-setting, and self-management for students. Teachers can personalize instruction,
activate student-centered learning, and engage students in both content mastery and the tools to attain it. Three hours of graduate credit will be received from Quincy University. Beverages and meals will be on your own.
