Continuing Education and Business Services Division
The Continuing Education and Business Services Division serves as the outreach office for college activities in the community. These include adult education, community service programs, credit and non-credit offerings for occupational upgrading, leisure and vocational courses, business training and workforce development programs.
Our Mission:
The Continuing Education and Business Services Division enhances the economic and personal well-being of the community by providing diverse continuing education, workforce, and business development services.
We serve as the outreach office for college activities in the community. These include adult education, community service programs, credit and non-credit offerings for occupational upgrading, leisure and vocational courses, business training and workforce development programs.
Continuing Education Center - open enrollment courses for lifelong learners in our district related to continuing professional education, general community education, business & career development.
Business Training Center- consulting services & customized training courses/programs developed for individual companies in the local area.
Dislocated Workers Center - employment & training services to eligible individuals and to employers under Title I of the Workforce Investment Act.
Small Business Development Center - management assistance, training and resources for those who own a business and for those who are seeking to start a business.
Driver Improvement Program - approved courses to motorists charged with minor traffic violations in partnership with the LaSalle County, Bureau County, and Putnam County Circuit Clerk’s offices.
Motorcycle Skills Training- Courses in motorcycle skills offered through ISU.
