Proficiency Exams

All computer proficiency exams will be given in the Assessment Center, E-215. Please contact Judy McQuilkin, Judith_McQuilkin@ivcc.edu for Assessment testing hours, http://www.ivcc.edu/assessment/ or (815) 224-0542 to schedule an appointment. Please contact Kathy Glascock's office by phone: (815) 224-0480 or email, or speak with your counselor with specific questions regarding the exams.

Students must come to the Career and Technical Programs Division Office, E-208 to sign up for each exam and pay the $15 fee before they can take the exam. If a student passes the exam, they must pay for the tuition in order to receive the credit on their transcript. All grades are recorded as Pass only.

CSP1210-Basic Computer Skills for the Workplace 1 credit hour (study guide)

**This exam may be repeated one time if a student fails it the first time. If they fail the second time, they must take the course. No other proficiency exams may be repeated.
