A Photo ID is required for all services offered through the Assessment Center.

Assessment Center Fall Hours                      

Monday and Tuesday: 9 AM - 5 PM
Wednesday and Thursday: 9 AM - 8 PM
Friday: 9 AM - 3 PM                      

Placement Testing Times

An appointment and Photo ID are REQUIRED for the IVCC Placement Test
Check in for Placement Testing begins 10 minutes before testing time.

General Policies

  • Students must sign in and show a photo ID before testing.
  • An appointment is required for CLEP tests, telecourse, online, and other university course tests.
  • An appointment for a make-up test is strongly advised.
  • Tests cannot be started within 1/2 hour of closing.
  • Students should come to the Assessment Center knowing the name of their instructor and class.
  • Academic Integrity is expected of all students.  Students are encouraged to review the Student Code of Conduct in the Student Handbook.
  • All electronic devices must be turned off while students are testing.
  • Special accommodations are available for makeup, placement, GED, and CLEP tests. Arrangements must be made in advance. Please call (815) 224-0284.
  • Coats and bags are not allowed into testing rooms.
  • Children are not allowed into any testing area.
